An Entry About Nothing. 8-13-2006 - 10:12 a.m. For someone who hates to be alone, I've been craving solitude lately. My timekeeper at work keeps forgetting to charge me for my vacations, so I have all this vaca time saved up that I am longing to use on a trip alone. But where? Somewhere as desolate as I feel. I've been thinking of the Black Hills of South Dakota. The North Woods of Minnesota. Or maybe a cabin that I adore, anonymously tucked into the middle of cornfields near Shelbyville, Illinois. Somewhere with no internet connection. No cell phone signal. No people milling around. Not much of anything really. Nothing.
