Ok, I think I have finally reached the "I have more money than I know what to do with" threshold. I pay all my bills, put a chunk in savings, give my boyfriend hundreds of dollars towards his/our credit card, and I've still got a lot left over. This is weird. I feel like I am forgetting to pay some huge bill or something, but I'm not.
Even scarier is that I haven't even got my long-time coming promotion yet. When that hits, I'll have a few hundred more per paycheck.
This is nuts. Since I moved to Chicago, I've wanted a jet-ski and/or boat. That's actually looking like a possibility now.

My mom is a real Coal Miner's Daughter. She used to eat beans three times a day in a holler in West Virgina, and actuallyhad an outhouse. One generation later, I'm nibbling sushi and sipping $10 mojitos. You've come a long way, baby.
