Pregnancy and Star Wars

I had a nightmare last night.

I dreamt that I was pregnant. Of course, my boyfriend was the father, and our families were jubilant. In my dream, I considered an abortion and eventually decided against it. I had that gnawing "my life is over" feeling-- the same feeling I get when I get the news that friends of mine are expecting babies. I feel sorry for them. I know this isn't the normal response, but undeniably, I pity young people who get knocked up.

I did see Star Wars yesterday... so maybe that's where this troubled pregnancy idea started for me. PS- the entire Star Wars collection should be re-dubbed "Movies Featuring Precariously Placed-Items at Great Heights". Flimsy-looking landing pads perched ridiculously above lava rivers? Yeah, it's got that. It's also got horrendous writing. But it did have bad-boy Anakin Skywalker, and there's just something about a guy turning to the dark side for the lady he loves.
