Sleeping Beauty

I've been having sleep issues lately. For a few days I was waking up at 4 in the morning like clockwork. Last night I went to bed at 8:00.

I've also been having bizarre dreams-- a recent one about a man with squid arms that killed everyone on Earth because they alienated him (except for me and a select group of people who sympathized with his squid-armed self). Last night I dreamt about an old boyfriend-- all I remember from that dream is that I was watching him from behind while he sat at an outdoor cafe, and he had gray hair.

I'm not sure what all this means. That I'm getting older, and realizing that everyone else I ever knew is older too? That I should be nice to people, even if they have squid arms and a bad temper?

God, I'm so fucked up.
