Welcome to Miami

I'm writing this while looking out my hotel window in Miami. I'm on the 15th floor, overlooking Biscayne Bay and the ocean, so it's not too shabby. Oh, and the Miami Herald building is in the immediate foreground.

Tonight, I've ordered room service (a first) of conch fritters and some jerk chicken salad.

I figure I'll eat a lonely meal while watching all the cruise ships set sail to the East and South.
